The rule of thirds is a composition technique used in photography to create visually appealing images. In this picture of a gnome, the rule of thirds is applied by placing the gnome off-center, creating a more dynamic and interesting composition.
Form photography is all about capturing the form of objects. This photo of leaves perfectly showcases the 0rganic shapes in nature. In this photo you can see the texture of the leaves and get some nice lighting. Pink flowers also are taken in this photo.
Complementary colors is what we had to do. I chose to take a picture of a bug catcher my brother had and took a picture of a fly. The colors green and orange care complementary.
Here I took a picture of a sunset for the assignment of analogous colors. Analogous colors are the colors necxt to each other on a color wheel.

Macro/close-up photography. Macro photograph basically explains itself. it is a photo zoomed in to get the details of an image. I took a close up shot of a flower for example.
I had to create a balance photo for this work. Here I took a picture of the freeway. This isn't the best photo I took but I still got a good score.
Here is another behind the scenes shot we did for another video. This video was for the slammy's and we were in the broadcasting room. I took a photo of my friend taking a photo on his phone.
Line photography is important aspect of photography. Using horizontal lines in your photos can create a sense of stability and serenity, it also guiding the viewer's eye through the image. For example this image has horizontal lines leads to a lizard.
For this photo, symmetry was used to show the symmetrical windows of our school. The results aren't the best as the lighting isn't straight but its still good for adding more color to this photo.
The rule of space can be used with almost anything. It doesn't have to be extravagant and can be simple and basic. Such as this space photo. We have horizontal lines but what first catches your eye is the fire extinguisher. This whole photo is simple but is a good example of space.
Still life, it is the art to take photos of inanimate objects. For example I took pictures of these pumpkins and squash to make a still life photo.
For this assignment we had to take a holiday photo. since Christmas time was around.. Here I took a picture of a Christmas tree in the basketball stadium.
We had to do a wear and tear photo so here I took a picture of a pizza oven in my backyard that has been around for 11 years or so.
Here is a photo of backlight photography. Backlight photography is you compose your pictures so that the primary light source is behind your subject.
Here is a behind the scene shot for one of my video assignment. It is a picture of my teacher taking a photo of my friend who is about to film a shot.
Shape photography is another great way to take photos. For example here is this picture of a tree showing organic shapes. This also shows frame within a frame, it is to border a subject, further drawing the focus to them. Your main focus is the tree.
Textures can be found all around us. Texture is an important element in photography that adds depth and interest to images. This photo is a good example on texture. You can see the markings of sand from footprints or anything. You can also see strands of the small plants around it.
Our assignment was before Halloween and it was to send a spooky photo. I didn't really take any pictures but here is a photo during the night with Halloween decorations to make it spooky.
We had to do frame within a frame photos for this assignment. I decided to use a photo of a hotel room bed which has frame within a frame like features of a square.
Here is a example of fall photography, since I did not take any photos from this fall I had to use pictures from last fall. If you can look closely you can see a bird between the branches.
Our assignment was a famous photo. I chose to do a landscape as my inspiration and took this photo.
We had to do landscape photography for this assignment. In this photo are green grass and clouds, i took the photo on the highway.
My last photo assignment for this 2023-2024 school year. It was a simple assignment of taking flower photography. I really like how this photo turned out here.
